An equation is created using matchsticks as III / III = III III.

It appears wrong, but you can interpret each III to make the equation valid. Do you know how?

111 / 3 = 37

– The numerator on the left hand side represents 111 using Western Arabic numeral.
– The denominator on the left hand side represents 3 using Roman numeral.
– The first number on the right hand side represents 3 using Roman numeral.
– The second number on the right hand side represents 7 using Western Arabic numeral and under binary system.
